In this episode we prevent the lynching of a Nilfgaardian deserter before following the Lubberkin to a nearby fisherman's hut, where Anna and Tamara took refuge. We are told of their fates and return this information to the Baron, who recollects a horse race with Ciri in which she won his mare, but soon found themselves attacked by a basilisk. With the promise of more information should we find his wife and daughter, we set out to continue our primary quest, and return to Midcopse in search of a witch...
