195Today we focus on VR gameplay with the GTA Vive mod from Joseph Delgado.

As you know from part one and two, we have the realistic driving mod and our racing wheel installed and ready to rock.
Disclaimer:
A little info right now, I modded my GTA Singleplayer. Never use this tutorial to mod your GTA Online! Rockstar will ban you. By the way, some mods in this series can make missions impossible, so better use it to explore and free roam.
Downloads:
First you need the GTA Vive mod from rly.sexy, trust me, that’s really the website!
And download the newest version of ScriptHook V, today it’s v1.0.791.2

Installation:
Step 1: Install ScriptHook, copy the ScriptHookV.dll and the dinput8.dll in the gta main folder. The dinput file is a asi loader. If you have the old dsound.dll asi loader already installed, delete it!
ScriptHook includes a Trainer, if you wanna use one. But it doesn’t necessary.
Step 2: ist o copy all files from the gta vive mod in the gta main folder.
Step 3 is for steam user. Right click on the game on steam, go to properties and uncheck the second box that says ‚Display in theatre mode‘
Step 4 in the steam properties click on Set Game Launch Options and set them as:
-width 1152 -height 1280 -framelimit 0 -windowed
If you don’t uses steam, create a commandline.txt in your GTA main folder and write the command line in there.
Step 5: Start SteamVR and after that GTA 5
Step 6: In the options menu, set aspect ratio to 5:4, use DirectX11 and lower your graphic settings a lot. You want to have minimal fps of 90 in every situation!
Step 7: Restart the game
If you want to delete the mod, just delete the ScriptHook and GTA Vive files and delete the commandline also.
Ingame Test:
To start the mod Press L,
Controller use:
• Use the trigger to fire.
• The menu button switches weapons.
• The trackpad can be used to teleport and slide to move.
• The grip button lets you punch people with iron knuckles.
• Teleport into a car to start driving. Press the grip button to center your view. Use the other controller to steer.
Keyboard use:
• Press L once ingame to activate VR mode.
• Press 0 to toggle rendering to the game window on your monitor (Default: on)
• Press 1 to toggle slide on trackpad to move on and off (Default: off)
