God of War: CoO - my fight against Persephone (phase 1) with limited gear
5Limited gear means Lvl. 1 Blades and nothing else. Health bar is unupgraded, and magic bar non-existent! Also, because I don't have Sun Shield, all of Persephone's attacks are unblockable... a pretty annoying situation, because her flying rush attack is nearly luck-based in how well you can avoid getting hit by it by just rolling or jumping.

This is only on Hero-mode, but it should suffice, I'm after all quite new to challenge runs in GoW. It took a few hours of practice and attempts to get through it like this. I wouldn't have done it, to be honest, had the potential Bonus Play-glitches not beckoned me, but sometimes you just don't know where glitches will take you...
After the fight footage, there's a little bit of the second phase too. Mainly how Kratos is able to deflect Persephone's projectiles back at her even without the Sun Shield, and how it is impossible to finish her off like this because you can't begin the final mini-game.
I did later beat Persephone again with a little less limited gear, with Lvl. 3 Blades, Lvl. 1 Efreet and Lvl. 1 Sun Shield. Unfortunately the limited gear doesn't carry over to Bonus Play: the game remembers your original gear from before you lose it in the Elysium sequence and uses that data for BP instead.
Fun fact: "Perse" means "ass" in finnish. So to us, this character's name reads like "ass-phone".
