Chaos Mode - No Upgrades
- Hera's Garden is big and can be confusing at first where it may take over 20 minutes to solve. The pillar with the steps on top will be used the most as seen in this vid
No use explaining all the steps as it will take too much to read so instead carefully watch the vid to solve the puzzle

- First appearance of the Satyr.
On Chaos Mode, these Satyrs are by far the most dangerous enemy in the game. You will die by only 2 heavy blows against them. IMO the Satyr in GoW3 is the hardest one to fight against.
What seperates this version from the previous 2 games is their defense has grossly improved. Bow spam rarely works on them, magic MUST be timed correctly or they will block it. In fact they will block majority of Kratos' attacks. Air-launch is now a MAJOR GAMBLE and guarenteed quick death if the Satyr blocks it. It leaves Kratos vulnerable to a counter attack.
Hermes Dash is even a bigger gamble leaving Kratos MORE vulnerable IF they block them.
To truly understand how to defeat the Satyr you must carefully watch their behavior and use a conservative approach. Ruthless aggression will not work on them!

In this run it is possible to open the gate without fighting the Satyrs. The trick is to not agitate them. Ignore them, give them space, make them think you're not a threat. Do this and they will back off.
IMPORTANT: Opening the gate MUST be done AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE! Failure to do so the Satyr will attack you! So air dash and repeat IF they're attacking you
Since this is a No Upgrade RUN I didn't feel obligated to fight them (plus I didn't need to anyways)
Honestly I don't recommend fighting against the Satyrs. Mostly because it's in a tight space and they will surely kill you if you attempt to fight them (from God Mode to Chaos Mode)
Still want to fight them? Don't say I didn't warn you.
First switch to the Nemesis Whip. Together they're formidable so seperating them is the key (easier said than done). Let the Satyr attack you first BUT be extremely ready to dodge out of the way. After that if you do nothing but stare (preferrably turning your back on them in a non-threatening way) the Satyr will taunt you with his loose stance. THAT'S HIS WEAKNESS! Quickly go up to him and Air-Launch the Satyr by holding triangle. Do a MAX 5-hit combo and quickly back off! Use light attacks and hit-n-run tactics as secondary assaults. It is critical you must keep moving around (ie Dance with the Satyr) and repeat these steps. Should you run low on health (odds are 90% likely) there's always the gate to bail out (once you open it of course)
