GOD OF WAR PART 1 [ First Time Playing GOW: Introducing Midgard, Kratos, and MY BOY! ❤️🪓 ]
40As promised, it is time to begin another Norse Adventure 🙌 And see the world of God of War after years of postponing.

Today, I’m taking my very first plunge into the epic world of God of War. 🪓 Before diving headfirst into this adventure, I made sure to study a bit so I know that Kratos now lives as a man in the realm of Norse Gods and monsters. He seems to know how to survive in this harsh world (considering he was killed multiple times during the franchise but refuses to die) but he needs to make sure his son, Atreus, does the same.
This episode might be short (thanks to all the prep work I needed to do before starting 😅 ), but let’s think of it as dipping our toe into the icy waters of Midgard. I’ve got a tiny bit of Norse mythology experience from Hellblade, but we’ll see how much of that I actually remember as we go.
It’s also my first introduction to Kratos, and I’m honestly still figuring out how to feel about him… except for when he calls for his BOY. In those moments, I know exactly how I feel. 😂
Speaking of BOY (aka Atreus), I’m already rooting for this tiny angst machine with his bottled-up emotions. I can’t wait to watch Kratos and Atreus bond throughout this journey - though I know it’ll take some patience. The story has already hooked me, and if Kratos keeps shouting "BOY" every now and then, you can bet I’m here for the long haul.
