We have wanted the next installment of God of War the moment the previous game’s credits rolled. The game’s story was so incredibly compelling, we didn’t want it to end. It has been two years since God of War was released, so what’s next? Has a sequel been officially announced? Are the guys and gals at Santa Monica Studios currently working on it?

As of this writing, there hasn’t been any official announcement of God of War 2 yet. But considering how the previous game ended and how massive of a success it was, it’s fair to assume that a sequel is in the works.
