Godot Adventure Resumed: Crafting a Balanced Game Development Approach
It's time for Godot Dev logs again. It's been a while since my last update, so let me catch you up on what's been happening in my life over the past three years. From changing jobs to completing university and moving houses, it's been a busy period in my life. But now, I'm getting back into game development with the Godot Engine. In this first Dev log 0 if you will.
In this video, I share my plan for balancing work, family, and my passion for game development. I've set out some rules to ensure that I prioritize financial stability, family time, mental health, and physical well-being. From dedicating time to overtime work to spending quality moments with my kids, from scheduling self-care activities to focusing on improving my fitness, I'm crafting a balanced approach to game dev that allows me to pursue my passion while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Join me as I dive back into the world of game development with the Godot Engine, starting with small manageable projects before tackling bigger challenges. I'll be posting updates every two weeks to keep you informed about my progress, so stay tuned for more Dev Logs!
Thank you for watching, and I appreciate your support as I embark on this new chapter. Take care, everyone!
