17,000Early reactions to #GodzillavsKong are rolling in. Legendary kicked off the Monsterverse with 2014's Godzilla before fleshing out his longtime enemy in Kong: Skull Island a few years later. The universe was expanded on in Godzilla: King of the Monsters in 2019, teasing the battle to come between the two Titans. Early trailers have posited Gojira as the villain of the film, but that has increasingly come into question as more promotional materials roll out. But, the main question is why it's all special and I have few reasons to prove this. #GvK #PJExplained
