A COOL MOMENT IN TIME:
Violator: The Album is sort of a 'One-of-a-kind' in that there aren't any other management groups that dropped a compilation album and if there are any they sure haven't decided to celebrate their 20th anniversary in Las Vegas. It focused mostly on Hip-Hop (with some R&B) on August 10, 1999 by Def Jam Recordings. Since it was part of the Violator Management company, it had artists/clients like Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, and Noreaga. You add that with production from celebrated producers, namely The Beatnuts, DJ Scratch, Diamond D, Havoc, Nottz, Q-Tip and Jay Dee (J Dilla) then you have something pretty cool.
BACKGROUND:
We (Arckatron & I) were fortunate enough to be invited to the Violator Retreat this summer in August which will also celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Violator: The Album.
ABOUT THE COVERAGE:
We have been invited as press so we plan to cover the Main Events of the live taping of Violator Radio Unkut with a panel discussing the making of Violator: The Album and the life Chris Lighty while also interviewing Violator Dj's and attendees as well.
FUNDING:

Nah Bruh. Who? NERDSoul ain't BIG like that yet. Gimme some time. With your help through either donating, sharing, subscribing/etc we can get the notoriety required to be funded and compensated to attend these events.

In this case it's not a want but a need to be able to cover this event and bring it to you and yours to enjoy from the comfort of your tv/mobile device.
WHEN WILL THIS BE DONE:
We will be recording and interviewing at the event on the week of August 19th, 2019 with videos from the event projected to release within two (2) weeks of the event(s).
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO USE THE MONEY FOR:
• Renting a vehicle to travel to Las Vegas
• Insurance
• Fuel for said vehicle
• Renting a rooms/air bnb to stay for the event
• Food/Ancillary costs
• Additional Equipment (cameras/microphones/lights/batteries/etc)
