So if you've played D&D 5e for a while, especially to higher levels, you've probably encountered issues with gold. Not that you don't have enough, but rather that you have an abundance and nothing to do with it. I know I've been both a player and a DM in these situations. The only time it wasn't an issue was when my party had 2 wizards. With needing to spend money to add spells into their spellbooks, the gold got eaten up quickly. Has an abundance of gold been an issue your game? How was it handled?
