Designed by and also released by Sega in May of 1996, Golden Axe 3 actually didn't come out in box release in NA; it actually came as part of Sega Channel, and wasn't easily accessible stateside until Sega started pumping out retro collections. And why didn't we get it? Honestly, might be because it was noooooot amazing. You lose the dwarf and gain two new companions, but a lot of the graphics are way worse. You do get new moves though, so that's nice?
What is #MasteredSystem? Well, it's a challenge I gave to myself to beat (almost) all North American released Sega Genesis games! We started in February of 2024, and are trucking along to clearing almost 700 total games! (I'm not doing unlicensed games, compilation packs or the Piano teaching game. Sorry.)
