- DESCRIPTION:
Y'know... I actually want to see a modern day Ice Climbers game. No, seriously. After they did such a great job with Pit in Kid Icarus: Uprising, maybe we can see some lovin' for the Ice Climbers by bringing them back as well.
You could have the plot be like an 'Around the World in 80 Days' sort of thing, where they could enter a competition involving climbing several different mountains around the world, and have them compete against many other pairs of colourful characters.
The gameplay would be similar to how they play in Smash Bros., except you can control each one individually if necessary, which would be useful in solving puzzles requiring teamwork. You could even have a story arc about them where they are already in love / married and are using this expedition as a way to cement their relationship.
Of course I made this stuff up in my head, and yeah, once I think of these things, I don't tend to forget them. But now that I thought about this, I would really like to see a modern Ice Climbers.
