I dunno about you, but to me, this song sounds kinda weird for a Grandia game. And I can't pinpoint why that is. It's just that when I think of this song being used in the first Grandia, it feels... kinda strange. I don't want to say it's "out-of-place", but then agiain it really does stand out from the rest of its soundtrack. Maybe it's just the native singers.

But does that mean I think it's a bad song? Goodness gracious no! In fact, this is probably my favourite town theme in the entire game now, and definitely the most underrated track of the whole soundtrack. This one flew even under my radar the first time I played this game, but listening to it now, I just adore it.

That's the second time the Grandia series has surprised me with excellent nature town music.
