Golden VGM #631 - Metroid Prime ~ Main Menu
7- DESCRIPTION:
The next surprising choice I was going to put in the Top 15 Menu Themes list is this classic tune.
Though I may not know much about Metroid, nor have I actually played Metroid Prime, this tune immediately came to mind when I thought of unique menu themes.
The strange static and wriggling sounds make the song so gross and otherworldly, but at the same time, the melody gives it a catchy feel. Only in Metroid can we hear a song like this, hence why this had to make my Top 15.
Incidentally, I have managed to play a 2D Metroid game recently called Metroid Fusion. It's fun, but I didn't realise how challenging it also was.
