Gometry Dash| Sourcream II (Insane Demon) by Serponge & more [All coins]
10After a long time, finally a new Insane Demon, my fourth to be exact. I'm making a review of every single part of the level, naming the creator of each one.
Cotchy: The level starts with this easy part by Cotchy that also contains two of the three coins, one of which is free (not of the coins is hard, anyway). This part ends with a nice art representing a lush tree.
Swirl: this second part is easy as well and has really cool graphics. The color choice is really spot on, in my opinion.
Starship: with this part the level starts raising up its difficulty a bit: the ufo part has some pretty tight jumps but it is more forgiving that it may seems. This part ends with a really easy cube section. Graphically this part is quite unique and cool.
EnjoyGame: here we have apparently tricky ball timings but actually they're not that hard, I died in this part very few times. Pretty nice graphics.
Defiant: now we have a memory part that becomes really easy once learned. Graphically, this is the section I like the least, but is not bad.
Echonox: this pretty long part starts with a ship with semi-invisible obstacles and then switches into an easy mini robot. The graphics of this part are really good and match perfectly with the music.
Maboflo: this part is a long dual wave. This is probably the hardest part till now but is still not that difficult. I'd say that the level is a Medium Demon up to here. Anyway, things are going to change quite radically.
G4lvatron: from now on the level becomes really hard. G4lvatron's part is the hardest for sure. It begins with a dual wave that seems confusing but once you notice that you can simply follow the movements of one wave, the irregular path of the other one can be ignored. Then we enter into a really hard dual ship that is symmetrical in terms of path but not in terms of obstacles: it is practically impossible to focus on the right ship so the only way I found to beat this part was making a mental path to follow and try to be as precisely as possible. After this there's a dual ball where the gravity of one ball is switched to make both the icons synchronized. This part has strict timings but is not as hard as the ship or the next wave. After the ball there's in fact the dual wave that keeps the previous gravity switch. This section is really clever, this is probably the best usage of this type of dual I've ever seen: the path is forced by a zigzag line between the two waves but you also need to pay attencion to the floor and the ceiling, which will kill you when touched. It's really hard to focus on the right wave and I found this part even harder than the dual ship. Graphically, G4lvatronìs part is one of the best of the level. Also, it is so hard that I considered every death after this as a fail. They're quite a lot, you'll see.
Millepatte: this part is probably the second hardest. It is not intuitive at all but after enough practice on a copyable I was able to get past it quite confidently following the music. There's a problem: after the G4lvatron's part there's a considerable music offset so all my work was nearly useless and I had huge problems. Just to be clear, I died 9 times at 75%, 2 at 76%, 1 at 77% and 8 at 81%. This part also has really unique graphics and overall is one of the best of the level.
Funnygame: this section is based on a really cool concept: every time you click, some objects become intangible and viceversa. Not hard but due to the massive music offset I still died 3 times at 86%. The last coin is at the end of this part.
Serponge: the last part is a wave where the obstacles spawn while you're going. This mean that you have to memorize this part pretty well and I did, thanks to the music sync but, as said, after G4lvatron I couldn't rely on that: this cost me 2 deaths at 93%, 1 at 94%, 2 at 95%, 1 at 97% and the last ridiculus fail at 98%.
Considering that the first half is an Easy/Medium Demon difficulty I may say this is an Hard Demon but I don't: the last part is too hard to be in an Hard Demon and it is enough for me to rate this as an Insane Demon.
