Dragon Quest III is one of the most beloved installments in Japan's most sacred RPG series.

I cannot give this music enough praise. Composed and re-arranged by series composer Koichi Sugiyama, this game's musical accompaniment is one of the most epic and enthralling masterpieces of a soundtrack on the Super Famicom... beautiful and truly tasteful conversions of the original Famicom tracks, along with a few new ones. The game's instrument set is similar to Dragon Quest 6's, suited for orchestral BGM.

The SFC Dragon Quest remakes' music can be found on the official OST, Dragon Quest Game Music Super Collection Vol. 2. DQIII contains some of the most memorable songs in the series.

This version of the game would also later be ported to the Game Boy Color.
