Some of you may have seen me post some videos of this game, and are even watching this going like “what in the heckins”, but let me share with you the joy this game has brought to me.

Riders of Icarus is a fantasy MMORPG where you can complete quests, smack things, and tame beautiful (and some ugly) creatures. It’s the most fun I’ve had playing this game, from the group of friends I started with to joining a guild, Chromatic, to still playing with a close friend. I mean, this game is visually stunning and some of the beasts you can tame is spectacular, I mean, can you see the two dragons in this film???

I’ve always wanted to take these two dragons, Tagris (blue) and Traes (red) since even before I started playing the game; they’ve really only been the thing that’s mattered to me which is why only they are featured, as well as my closest friend, Sash.

I originally discovered this game through my favourite YouTuber, Silver WillowWing who plays all kinds of games; she’s even how I started playing SSO! This video is inspired by her Icarus content since I acknowledge it so much, including the soundtrack from Xenoblade Chronicles within her gaming videos. I used to listened to this soundtrack whilst I played because it was so fitting for the game and I’d really like to express my gratitude for Silver for my discovery of all of the games I play now. So before u come at me for copying yes this is intentionally inspired

Well, my computer is old. Pretty old. Turning 10 next year. Steam says it will no longer run on my computer in 103 days, so I won’t be able to play Icarus in 103 days since I run it through there (and don’t even ask about downloading the VALOFE launcher dawg I’ve tried). So I guess this is goodbye.

I don’t think the game has much to offer for me anymore anyway, with an extremely challenging and unenjoyable new area that players have been waiting for since BEFORE I started playing (2019/2020). I know the game is dead, too, but playing it has been so fun and one of the best parts of my life (even though it’s just a game). So thank you to everyone who has played with me and helped me with in game stuff, and thanks if you’re reading this or watching this video. I’d encourage to check the game out and play with some of your friends if you haven’t.

Idk lol it’s a super rushed storyline of my characters demise but I just wanted everything to fit with the music loolllll
