Google is no longer attractive to business students
New rankings from the Sweden-based employer branding company Universum reveal that Google's appeal to business students worldwide has declined for the first time in 13 years.
Every year, Universum conducts a poll of university students majoring in business, engineering, and information technology from the nine nations with the greatest economies in the world to determine which firms they are most interested in working for. Since its initial introduction in 2009, Google has regularly led Universum's ranking of the most desirable employers, but this year it fell to second place among business students. Apple, which came in third place last year, barely beat Google to the top spot. For engineering and IT students, Google continues to be ranked first, followed by Microsoft and Apple.
