Google photos image urls are public by default?

This is in response to the debate surrounding Google Photos, and the claim that you can just right-click and copy image url, and open it anywhere.

I was under the assumption a url is private until I click Get Share Link. If I haven't opted to share link, then it shouldn't open to anyone trying to access it.

We debated it, and a friend asked to verify it, so I created the video to prove him wrong. I was in for big surprise.
