Despite some Murphy’s law officer Murphy RNG (see what I did there...? Eh...? I’m funny...?) I pushed through all my personal bests and got a sub 10 time are a fun day of Goosebumps speedrunning!

I went through a big test run of the game where I completed the house slowly and did the original (photo development) route, and just tested out how I could interact with different things... and BOOM, I discovered something that I’d forgot and should’ve known already; there’s a single button you can press that puts you in the top left of the current page of your inventory. I used this as a sort of strategy to
1: Obviously get to objects in my inventory with speed, and more importantly, consistency/efficiency.

2: As a way to put the cursor to the top right of the screen instantaneously (via using the button and then going out of the inventory immediately).


I’m very proud of this run, and, as you can see, there’s STILL room for improvement with some strategy I just thought up, even less mistakes, and good Murphy RNG.
