Gorf is an arcade game from Bally Midway, ported to the Atari 8-Bit by Roklan. It is not at all a Space Invaders ripoff, because it also rips off several other games along the way and provides one of the earliest examples of a boss fight!

Atari A to Z is a weekly series that gradually works its way through the Atari 8-bit's catalogue of games, one letter at a time. Once we get to Z, we go back to A and start all over again!
