Both Gothel and Rapunzel are very similar in style, but do have different features so they're not clones of each other, and there are PLENTY of features for sure!
In the base game there are a number of random feature that can occur before each spin, although you win by landing winning combinations on paylines. Both Gothel and Rapunzel also pay mixed. Here's a summary of the features:
1. Gothel's Respin Bonus: Fully landing "Reveal" symbols on two consecutive reels will award this bonus after which those reels will combine to form an over-sized reel that will spin to determine the respins symbol. The non-triggering reels are then spun up to two times after which matching symbols lock into place. This bonus can also be triggered through a special "nudge" feature that also may occur randomly under certain circumstances.
2. Rapunzel Wilds Bonus: Randomly, Rapunzel may appear during any winning spin that doesn't trigger Gothel's Respin of Freespin Bonuses. Rapunzel will appear and change 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, or 15 symbol spaces to wild.
3. Big Kitty's Wheel Feature: This feature can be triggered on any winning spin greater than or equal to 1x your total bet that doesn't trigger Gothel's Respin of Freespin Bonuses. Big Kitty spins the wheel for either a multiplier up to 25x your spin outcome or 5 free spins.
4. Gothel's Revenge Bonus: This feature can be triggered on any winning spin that doesn't trigger Gothel's Respin of Freespin Bonuses. Gothel will appear along with all symbol spaces covered with the Reveal symbol. You then pick Reveal symbols which will transform that reel space wild or the full reel wild.
The primary bonus is Gothel's Freespin Bonus which is triggered by landing bonus symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5. Any special Reveal symbols that land will transform into a super massive middle reel symbol at the end of the spin. Retriggers are possible for 2 extra spins by landing bonus symbols on reels 1 and 5.
