The government is being accused of using military propaganda in schools.

The human rights group ForcesWatch and Quakers in Britain say material aimed at educating children about the work of the British Armed Forces, and war in general, is nothing more than an attempt to recruit youngsters, and that it should be withdrawn.

A Department of Education spokesperson, meanwhile, told Forces TV that "resources are regularly produced for teachers" for lesson plans "that stimulate debate and discussion".

Paula Middlehurst asked Owen Everett, from ForcesWatch, about his organisation's objections to the way children are taught about the military in the UK.
