Did you know that 38,000 temples including 19,000 hereditary trustee held temples are under Govt control in Tamil Nadu. All hundi money (donations) received by the temples goes into government coffers for funding causes not related to Hindus. Temple lands are under utter mismanagement with rampant illegal encroachment and an abysmal state of rental collections. Our money going into temples can turn around the momentum for Hindu/Dharmic causes. Temples must be freed from govt control, and funds handed over to Hindu community.
