GP World SEGA SG-1000 Longplay [Master System]
From a purely audio-visual perspective, this game is certainly nothing special (even for an SG-1000 game). Where this game really shines though is in its variety. The game features 10 unique tracks (which unfortunately bear very little resemblance to their respective countries) and even features a track editor for you to create your own tracks! As for the gameplay itself, it plays similar to other games of the time such as Pole Position, but this time from a first person perspective which is nice. Complete 2 laps within the allocated time and you progress to the next track (the game loops back to the start after all 10 tracks have been completed). This game would lay the foundation for what would become 'The Circuit' (aka World Grand Prix) on the Mark III / Master System platform (albeit returning to the more traditional third person view in the process).
Recorded from an NTSC-J Master System via an EasyCap capture device. As a result, the colours look different from a 'proper' SG-1000 so please bear this in mind.
Enjoy ^_^
