GPU Mining and scalping have cause major shortage issues for GPUs like the RTX 3080 for over a year and a half. The good news is that they are basically completely over at this point and are having little to no effect on the price and stock of RTX 30 and RX 6000 GPUs. This has led to much better prices for GPUs and in many cases new GPUs can be bought for MSRP now. So if your trying to buy a new GPU this is very good news for you.
