This benchmark was inspired in part by two topics: For one, we've seen people ask if a sample size of 1 unit is sufficient for looking at stock performance. The answer is functionally "yes," only deviating if there's a defective unit (which we also show in this test). The other part is that we've seen people talking about "golden reviewer samples," and so we wanted to look at a wider sample size of what sort of range you can even see when both stock or overclocked. Part of this testing looks at maximum overclocking headroom on the GPU and the memory, with the other part focusing only on out-of-box performance.
