You begin the plot of this part on the train. Reading the newspaper, Harry learns that Sirius Black has escaped from prison. He is a dangerous criminal who once worked for Voldemort, and after the latter's fall, he killed 13 people. For his crime, Black received a life sentence in Azkaban prison, but escaped. Now no one knows where he is and what he is up to.
The compartment in which the friends are sitting also contains the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Remus Lupin. Suddenly, the train brakes sharply. Gradually, it is surrounded by the terrible creatures guarding Azkaban - the Dementors who are looking for Black. One of the Dementors attacks Harry, and he instantly faints...
At Hogwarts, Headmaster Albus Dumbledore announces that the Dementors will patrol the school until Black is captured. Determined to learn how to repel the Dementors, Harry convinces Professor Lupin to teach him the most powerful Patronus spell. The Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson goes brilliantly, Harry copes with the task.
The time for final exams is approaching. Ron, Hermione and Harry are already waiting for rooms with severe tests. You will have to remember everything you have been taught and prove that you have mastered the material perfectly.
