Gran Turismo 4 - Initial D Save Game v0.86
F.A.Q.
Q: Which version of GT 4 is compatible with this save and how did you transfered to your USB drive?
A: Only the SCUS-97328 version is compatible with this save file. If you wanna copy it to your memory card, you need a soft-moded console, because I copied to my flashdrive with uLaunchELF. You can use the PS2 save builder to make a Codebraker savefile from it. (If you wanna know that you have the correct version of the game, check your already existing save file's name or create one with the game, if you don't have, and check the name of it with uLaunchELF [the correct name of the save game folder is BASCUS-97328]
Q: I copied the savefile to my memory card, but the game says there is no GT 4 save file on the memory card...
A: Your game version number is incorrect, you need the SCUS-97328 release of the game.
Q: There is also a Pontiac Concept car and a japanese concept car in the garage, not just the Initial D vehicles. Why?
A: Because I used them for griding money, in order to buy the vehicles. You don't get money, if you sell them, so I kept them. Take it as a bonus ;)
Q: Some of the cars have incorrect color, or the car model is not the right type or from the right year, what "X" character has....
A: Those are placeholders. Due to most of the time, I bought the cars from the used car shops, and the inventory of those are always randomly generated. This almost drove me insane, because some of the cars, just simply doesn't have that type of color what I need (for example the SILEIGHTY or Kenta's S14). Also please keep in mind that this is not the final savegame. Take it is a "presentation". I still have work to do with it.
Q: How do you know, that you bought the right vehicle from the car shops?
A: I used the car list of Initial D Special Stage and the Initial D wikia, where I saved the pictures of cars, with their model type to my smartphone. So when I was in the shop and I found a car, I just double-checked the details of it with my phone.
Q: In it's current state, how accurate is your work in this save file currently?
A: I would say it's around 85-92%. I just need to find 4 cars, which are missing, but sadly the Toyota Altezza is only available in the Japanese version, so the only alternative is the Lexus IS 200, which is the Altezza under a different name.
I KEEP THIS F.A.Q. UPDATED if you have any other question.....
