In this chapter, Nico reconnects with his foppy friend Bernie Crane (formerly Florian Cravic), helping him get rid of a homophobic hater and punish some blackmailers who are after him and his lover - who, coincidentally, turn out to be working for the traitor Dimitri Rascalov. In between hanging out with and protecting Bernie, Nico still finds time for more dates (with Kiki and Alex) and side trips with Brucie, whom he takes on a boat trip and a helicopter tour of the city. At the end of the day, we are rewarded with a nifty car from Bryce Dawkins, Bernie's blackmailed lover (although Alex, whom Nico is trying to impress, doesn't seem to think much of the gift).
