Another Grandia game, another hard type hack to attempt going through. The latest update (PC version only) can be picked up here:

Random battles scattered around the western part of Ghoss Forest.

For the most part, there's only enemies from previous areas here, including a couple groups of those lovely Flame Toadies that drop the lovely Pretty Bracelets for selling.

There is one new enemy though, the Giga Mantis. Sports a pretty high amount of HP (4500). All it has is a physical attack which can induce move & magic blocks.

That's the good news.

The bad news? Said physical attack does ~1800 damage, enough to 2 shot most characters at this stage in the game. Fan-freaking-tastic, eh?

Oh yeah, they come in groups of 4. Throwing a couple of them to sleep is best so you don't get bulldozed in record time.
