Baal has two parts(Baal and Gaia Tentacle), the battle is over when either one is defeared, now then; Baal himself with attack, use Vanish(full buff/debuff for everyone) or Gaia Power to Leech HP from the Gaia Tentacle onto himself, doesn't sound too threatening but his Standard Attack will inflict a random ailment and it's a 100% Chance. The Gaia Tentacle has more HP but lower VIT and no Elemental Resistance so it's easier to take out, it has Gaia Strike for Single Target Damage and Gaia Fang which hits in a large circle around Baal, it will also use Hoistheel to leech HP from Baal to heal itself. Attacking the Tentacle is a faster way to get the job done despite the higher health.
