Vertebreaker
The game was made by Made by Joseph Gribbin using Game Maker Studio 2 and has recently been released by the new Super Rage Games publishing studio, Super Rare Originals! From what I could tell online, this is his 6th game, and the first one released on consoles, so considering he’s only been making games for a few years, getting a full game published on a console is an amazing achievement in it’s self!
I was sent a code for review, but I want to make it clear that all opinions are my own, and I do have some constructive criticism about the game, which I hope the developer will take on board and use to make even better games in the future!
2D platforms with interesting mechanics are some of my all time favourite games so I really really excited to check this one out!
I played the demo for grapple dog a while ago as part of the Indie Game Mix Tape by Super rare, and loved it then!
