There has always been a sort of moral quagmire when discussing "Bugs" "Glitches" and "Exploits" in gaming... is it moral and ethical to use them? Is it ban-worthy? Is it simply a manifestation of "meta-gaming"? or is it something truly horrible that must be rooted out and destroyed.

This question becomes much more pressing when competitive event such as a race to worlds first takes center stage in multiple Triple A franchises, (the Division and Destiny/Destiny 2) but are bogged down by an inconsistent approach to not only community backlash, but developer response and policy.

Something like Rainbow Six Siege has VERY specific regulation, with specifications on what SKIN you can even use... but Destiny and The Division are trying to host competitive events with no competitive framework... and its just begging for controversy.
