Grapply Demo Let's Play on the HTC Vive
3I've said it before, and will no doubt say it again, but there are times that a flat video of a VR experience is a little, well, flat. This is a case in point.
Grapply is a game where you point your controller's laser beam at things, and when you pull the trigger you get pulled toward what you're grappled to.
Simple, right?
But like a lot of simple things, it works *amazingly* well. The sense of motion and freedom is intense, as is the feeling of raw speed. Which does *not* come across in the video, sadly, so you'll just have to cope with me hooting and giggling like a mad thing and accept that yes, it actually *is* that intense.
There are only a few maps, and one game mode (race) just at the moment, but as a very-early-alpha-demo I think it does everything it should do. Recommended!
