Great product, Great service!
Got this pack for hunting this year, and put it through it's paces out chasing elk through some thick brush in some canyon ground. No holes in the pack, or in the water pouch I kept in it, though at one point I got snagged on a limb hard enough that one prong of the waist belt gave, but I was able to loosen it just a little and click it back in. It was still taking some of the weight for the rest of the day too. I just got off the phone with their customer service and have a replacement buckle in the mail, no questions asked. Even had a real person pick up the phone after it rang once. Alps has a customer for life. I would echo what other reviews are saying and say take the time before using it to adjust it to your body, it's a great product, and adjusts almost everywhere. The only thing that I would think to do to improve on this product would be to make a way to secure the rest of the adjustment straps. Most adjustments have a little elastic band that you can tuck excess strap into, but some don't. Maybe a velcro tab on the end and a place to stick it to? As it is I just used zip ties on the ones that might move in a wind. Overall 10/10, would buy it again.
