Solid mounting system
Those towel rails and other bathroom accessories that mount to a formed metal plate eventually and inevitably loosen as the plate deforms. From there, the more you tighten the set screw, the more the plate bends. This is one of the few that have a die cast post, where the set screw positively locates the accessories. If more tightening is ever needed it’s simple and doesn’t damage the post, the accessory, or the wall.
