GREAT Work and Time saver
These things are GREAT! (so far) a real work saver for us older DIYers. No torch flames to worry about. just cut off the pipe, deburr it push the SharkBite fitting on. no need to even wait for the pipe to stop dripping.
You might try a little SILICONE Grease on the pipe just to make it slide on a little easier. DONOT use PETROLIUM based grease... It will mess up the silicone "O" ring in the fitting that forms the water seal. Also, do not install in a wall as there is a slight chance it might leak.
