[Greedventory] Reanimating my own demise
It's exactly the same feeling, that I got with Sekiro or Billion beat or Monster hunter world. New mechanics to learn, new frontiers to discover, new skills to master. And as you fumble through the depths of unknown, you eventually come through, and then you marvel at the treasures before you. The mandatory Orenstein and Smaug fight just thaught me that not all enemies can be beaten down with pure strength, got to look out for weaknesses, and given that the system here is new and refreshing, the seeking out and experimentation is superb. Couple of deaths didn't even notice the lightning, then saw the red one, and then eventually found that the blue one actually procs it on you also. Because it's all new you don't know what to focus on. The game is so intensive, that you can only afford to look at one place, and now you've got two enemies on each side, that you've got to pay attention to. It's exactly this puzzle like format that gives this joyful glee of discovery, once you finally figure it out. Mostly learning the mechanics and then a sprinkle of repetition to get it semi-consistently down.
Now if only my fingers wouldn't get so tiered from mashing buttons, I'd play it for longer sessions.
Really like this.
