Greenbelt 2016 - InterACT #1 - Ryan Green (That Dragon, Cancer)
In a series of supporting videos for the InterACT video-game stream at Greenbelt festival we talk to Ryan Green about That Dragon, Cancer, video-games, meaning and faith.
Greenbelt is an Arts, Justice and Faith festival that has been going since 1974 without a break. Music, talks, art and activism draw a diverse crowd each with many returning each year since going as children.
This year the new InterACT track of content will offer talks, opportunities to play through unusual video-games together, dusk gaming sessions on The Lawn and an interview with a family who made a video-game about their son’s terminal cancer. All the sessions will have the same people running them and offer opportunities to ask questions, poke, prod and find out more about what video-games may have to offer your spiritual life.
Games we are planning to discuss and/or play: That Dragon Cancer, Pokemon Go!, Lego Star Wars, The Last of Us, Space Team, Joust, Uncharted, Her Story, Passage, A Dark Room, Cart Life, Abzû, Journey, Flower, Prune, Panza Dragoon Saga, Mario Kart, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Inside, Mega Man, Super Mario 64, Far Cry 2, Final Fantasy, Let's Catch, Limbo, Final Fantasy VII.
