This video is demonstrating what I believe is the easiest upgrade setup to control this car. The setup is 1 level in engine and 2 levels in drivetrain and 3 levels in handling. This upgrade setup has been around with C63 users for quite some time and it's quite popular due to it's easy handling yet high straight performance.

GRID 2 [HD] 720p PC Multiplayer Race gameplay with keyboard using a Tier 2 Upgraded Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. This is an online public playlist event where events, tracks and tiers are randomly generated by the game. I featured 3 tracks, first track is Okutama, Mizu Mountain. 2nd track is Hong Kong, Kowloon Climb and third track is Indianapolis, GP Circuit.

GRID 2 Multiplayer is totally a separate portion of the game. You start from scratch and earn money and level up. You save up money to buy cars and upgrades, and by leveling up, unlocks new cars to buy. Cars in Multiplayer are upgradeable.

To give you an idea how good this car is now with this setup, you can compare the Hong Kong Kowloon Climb's time for this run with my Challenger vs R34 run. It's still 0.4 sec faster and it's far from a perfect run with some resistance at start.

Description for this upgrade setup:
My previous video and setup was 2 engine and 4 handling upgrade. You might say the gearbox upgrade affects the acceleration as well as a lack of the 2nd engine upgrade. Actually no, without the gearbox upgrade the gear ratios are very short and the car keeps shifting. Also the 2nd engine upgrade doesn't give much stats either. I once was side by side with a C63 with this setup, I was quite even before the top speed cap gave away.

Even with just 1 level engine upgrade and with gearbox upgrade, this car is still the fastest accelerating car in Tier 2. Unless of course some maniac went full power no handling in the other cars. Another key upgrade is the differential upgrade which aids cornering significantly. What makes this setup and this car so great is that it could turn a lot with just a small drift angle. Unlike some cars which requires a large drift angle, this one just needs a tiny angle and it could turn. And that makes starting a drift, recovering and going from one corner to the other much easier.

Drawbacks and characteristics you need to be aware off:
This setup has NO drawbacks. It's the best and the best of the C63 you can get. It has power, acceleration, top speed and handling. However because the drift angle is small it can be quite deceiving and you tend to increase the drift angle. Be careful because if the angle is too large it will suddenly become heavy and have trouble recovering.

Verdict:
With this setup, you have one of the best performing Tier 2 cars. And also the fact this is the first car in Tier 2 you unlock, you really should buy this car.
