This video is demonstrating what I believe is the best upgrade setup for this car. The setup is 3 levels in engine and 1 levels in drivetrain. I will explain what are the handling characteristics you need to look out for if you are going for this upgrade route.

GRID 2 [HD] 720p PC Multiplayer Race gameplay with keyboard using a Tier 2 Upgraded Nismo Nissan Skyline R34GT-R Z-Tune. This is an online public playlist event where events, tracks and tiers are randomly generated by the game. I featured 2 tracks, first track is Cote D'Azur, Route D'Azur and 2nd track is Algarve GP Circuit.

GRID 2 Multiplayer is totally a separate portion of the game. You start from scratch and earn money and level up. You save up money to buy cars and upgrades, and by leveling up, unlocks new cars to buy. Cars in Multiplayer are upgradeable.

Description for this upgrade setup:
This car's weakness has all along been power at high speeds. If you choose the 2,1,1 setup you will lose in a straightaway battle to the other 5 best performing cars in Tier 2. However with this setup, you are faster than the BMW M3 and comparable with the C63 AMG and the C63 no longer smoke you into dust in the straights. There is an advantage to no handling upgrades to this car as well but there is also a drawback which I describe later. Without handling upgrades, the car becomes much easier to slide yet still controllable provided you do not exceed the slide angle. In other words, handling upgrades makes the car understeer more by increasing stability. You don't want to be gripping in this car.

Drawbacks and characteristics you need to be aware off:
Without handling upgrades, this car becomes much easier to slide. However you have to be careful with the slide angle. If your entry speed is too fast you will force the car into a huge slide which cause a rapid reduction in speed. Therefore you need to brake for an appropriate entry speed and swing the car into a slide, but remember not to make it too large or the car will downshift and you will lose too much speed. Use normal drift/brake drift for this setup, try to avoid handbrake drift unless you are understeering or you have realised you turned too late.

Verdict:
The key for being fast in this setup is sliding the car at the optimum angle without understeering or oversteering. And watch out for curbs, whether with handling upgrade or not, it will send you on 2 wheels with this car.
