Made by Namco in 1984 as a spinoff of Xevious (obviously.) I believe the game was released here in the US as a kit from Magic Electronics according to a Flyer I saw, but not in a dedicated cabinet. Anyways, Grobda runs on Super Pac-Man hardware and as the game title implies, you play as a Grobda that has to shoot all the other Grobdas and other vehicles in arenas from the National Battling Association. Shooting Grobdas and vehicles only get you a fixed amount of points, but if any Grobdas or vehicles are caught in the explosion of your Grobda, a vehicle, or another Grobda, you can rack up many more points, and even more if more of them are caught in the explosion! Also, in the beginning of this gameplay, you might have noticed an Easter Egg when you move the Joystick without inserting any coins, a sound plays. Now finally, the other function your Grobda has is a shield, which when full, can block out bullets and explosions only when in the blue area, and can only block bullets and not explosions in the yellow area. Enjoy the gameplay!
