Ground-Unbound [PC] FULL GAME SUPERPLAY - NO COMMENTARY
Well, the controls, visuals, and sound are all fantastic. The meat and potatoes if you will. However, this game is a great example of what happens when you let the player become too OP. It's really fun for awhile, but eventually, there's nothing left to do. I was grinding for a time, thinking that the attribute levels would top out at 20. When that didn't pan out, I thought maybe 25 would be it. But it's not. As far as I can tell, there are no level caps. Also, the stages seem to go on forever. And if you're taking out the enemy spawners and using the money earned to upgrade your stats, it doesn't seem like the AI will ever be able to catch up. Once you hit that point, continuing to play doesn't make much sense.
I think this game could be saved pretty easily, though. Introduce new enemy types every 5 or so levels up to a certain point so you get some nice variation. If you're going to keep it endless, create a scoring system with worldwide leaderboard to give people another reason to keep playing. Throw in a mechanic that lets the player quickly descend from a jump. Maybe even slam down and do damage to enemies, with greater damage for being higher up. As it is, there's an unreasonable amount of time spent in the air once your jump is upgraded. If you watch towards the end of this video, I stopped jumping as much as possible because it would take so long to come back down.
Anyway, some might say this isn't the "full game" because it goes on and on, but like I said, I don't think there's much else to do. So I'm calling it the full game because I think we've seen it all here.
Enjoy, chefs!
