GT Omega Gaming Chair Piston Replacement Fix Guide Tutorial
On this video I will be showing you how to replacement a GT Omega Chair Hydraulic Cylinder Piston. The hydraulic piston has worn out over the years and will not stay extended. Instead of buying a new gaming chair (these are pricey) the cheaper option is too just install a new piston. The hardest part of this guide is removing the old piston and its wedged in to the feet and chair.
Many tutorials on Youtube show how easy it is to tap the base of the chair and the piston will pop out, those chairs had plastic feet.
This chair on the other hand has metal feet which makes it harder to just keep tapping with a rubber mallet.
You'll need a sturdy metal hammer and a thick cloth to hammer this out - at different angles. some WD40 will help this process. This video will show you how to do it all.
