GT6 Seasonal: Lexus IS F CCS-R Nurburgring 24hr Lap
5This is the seasonal event that was released with the new update to GT6, it's in a brand new Lexus IS F CCS-R which was driven by Kazunori Yamauchi, the founder of Gran Turismo.
It's big, it's orange, and it's loud. And also very fast. I do really like this car, it's just like an angry ginger. Which is awesome. My only real problem with this car is the suspension setup. There's 3.5 degrees of camber on the front wheels, which makes the car understeer wildly, and if you oversteer you have no grip on the front tyres to bring the back around again, so if you understeer or understeer, there's basically nothing you can do about it. There is also quite a lot of downforce on the rear wing, which just emphasises the understeer and restricts your turning ability more than the benefits of having straight line stability, so it just isn't worth having the wing on, and you can't take it off in GT Auto either.
But apart from that, the car is pretty good, it only has the standard power from the production IS F, but that's enough. and besides the understeer it's not bad at cornering if you get the entry speed right.
Also, I recommend upgrading this car as much as you can if you buy it, as you can tune it to have over 740bhp and a good suspension setup will see this car munching up the corners.
