GTA IV Tips and Tricks: How to Restore ANY Wreck in a Parking Space (PC Only)
In this Video, I show how you can restore ANY Wreck in a Parking Space with ease by teleporting away from the area.
***This does NOT work on PS3. I am NOT SURE if it works on Xbox360. Pretty sure it ONLY WORKS on PC.***
With that said, PS3 has an EXCLUSIVE Method on a similar way to do this, only on PS3 using SIXAXIS Method, you can NOT TELEPORT WHILE YOU'RE WANTED like you CAN DO on PC using this other Method which involves the Video Editor Warp.
What the Video Editor Warp does is simply puts you back to the NEAREST Safehouse you are located by on the Map after exiting it. Once you enter it, then exit it, the game will remove your Wanted Level and then spawn you back at the NEAREST Safehouse. Although, if you push ANY Wreck into a Parking Space (this would only be for Special Vehicle Collectors, obviously) and then quickly go into the Video Editor and exit it all while the Wreck was still in the Parking Space, it'll be renewed! You still have to save your game after this. The Video Editor doesn't save your progress and keeps all of this temporary!
A lot of EC Maverick's in GTA IV required a Mission Failure PLUS Mission Replay in order to obtain them OR a Mission Failure PLUS SIXAXIS Warp (PS3 Only) to teleport away from the Parking Space so the Maverick could be renewed and also to AVOID the Mission Replay recorded in the Stats, as well.
Well, now, Mission Replays are a thing of the past, at least for people playing on PC. So this helps the Stats. Not to mention, unlike SIXAXIS, it WORKS with a WANTED LEVEL, which I even shown in this Video!
All you have to do is get ANY Wreck into the Parking Space at ANY TIME and then quickly go into the Video Editor, enter it, exit it, then go check to see if your Vehicle is renewed.
?? actually made quite a nice discovery recently in IV and claims that after passing "Actions Speak Louder Than Words," the Lustered Cognoscenti is still sitting there as a Wreck. He pushes it back to the Parking Space, and then it vanishes. But...Video Editor Warp. I bet it can be obtained with Mission Pass now rather than Mission Failure! Might record this one day, or something. I am also pretty sure some other Mission Failure Vehicles can be obtained with Pass by doing such Method with the Video Editor Warping.
Even in TLaD, there is ONE Special Vehicle that requires a Mission Replay and that is the Unique Prison Bus 1 of 2 from Off Route. Nobody obtains it since it needs a Mission Failure, no matter what, but it can still avoid the Mission Replay Stat!
