GTA IV Tips and Tricks: How to Get Max Ammo for a Pistol at the Very Beginning of the Game
0In this Video, I show how to acquire a Pistol with maximum ammo (1,500 bullets) at the very beginning of the game.
***This LIKELY works for ANY Weapon dropped by ANY NPC, however, I only ever saw it done with a Pistol and a Micro SMG. It also LIKELY works in TLaD and TBoGT all the same, too. It works on all Platforms and Versions.***
To do this is very simple. Just walk up to whichever NPC is carrying and blast him away. The moment you blast him away, press whatever button you would to PICK UP something and if done successfully, Niko will have bent over and picked up the Pistol dropped by the NPC.
It's sort of quirky and this was my FIRST TIME ever trying it. As you can see, I didn't do it properly when I blasted away the first NPC, but succeeded in the second NPC. Either way, it's still very mindless and anyone can pull this off.
After acquiring a Pistol with 1,500 bullets, you can then just go to the Desert Eagle Spawn Location (I've shown this in some of my IV Videos already) and replace the Pistol with the Desert Eagle still maintaining 1,500 bullets since it shares the same ammo in-game.
