GTA ONLINE CHARACTER CREATION, NEW FEATURES (Escapist News Now)
Grand Theft Auto Online is set to go live on October 1st, just a few weeks after. The events of Online are set after the campaign and will include more than 500 missions.
The world will be populated with crew members and of course friends, if you have them, and other online players that are near your skill level. Characters from the single-player campaign will also appear for various missions.
Your character is customizable and you can choose to be a female in Online. You'll also choose your parents, a lifestyle, and what kind of person you are like couch potato, partier, or sports nut .Your starting skills will be based on which lifestyle you go with and are upgradeable.
Virtually every activities from the campaign will be available such as racing, hijacking, and heists plus recreational activities like golf, tennis, and base-jumping.
Each faction in GTA Online will have different rewards for different jobs you do. For example, if you makes friends with a tech-head character you can get him to remove you from radar during missions, or you can join a biker gang and have them back you up in a firefight.
GTA Online will also track which kind of missions you do the most and offer you more of the same types so you can keep doing what you love. Plus there will be a passive mode that prevents you from being attacked by other online players. However, once you start firing your gun passive mode is automatically disabled.
