GTA SA OM0 Special Vehicle Guide: EC/EM Conversion
0Welcome to my Special Vehicle Guide for GTA SA! This Video will show you how to convert ANY Vehicle CJ can drive into EC/EM (Exclusive Color / Exclusive Modification). Exclusive Color means the Vehicle's Color can never be found in traffic or parked, nor can the Color be acquired from a Pay and Spray, no matter how many times you respray it. Exclusive Modification is referring to a Modification on the Vehicle Model that normally wouldn't be there. In regards to this EC/EM Berkley's RC Van and EC/EM Police, the Exclusive Modification would be everything done in the Transfender because you can't even drive a Berkley's RC Van or Police into a Mod Garage under normal circumstances and modify it, period.
Where Things Take Place in the Video:
1:35 - 1:50 - Setting up OM0 by stepping into the Red Marker at the Quarry right as the Phone begins to ring
1:55 - 6:30 - Using the nearby Sanchez given for the Quarry Mission to quickly drive to the San Fierro Airport Ticket Booth before the timer expires
6:35 - 6:50 - With about ten seconds left on the timer, I go into the Ticket Booth and buy a Flight to Las Venturas and as the Flight is about to take off, the Quarry Mission fails and I jump out of the Plane
6:55 - 9:40 - Without skipping the Flight, I get back to land, jack a Vehicle, and then drive in reverse to the Transfender before the Flight is over
9:45 - 10:15 - Once inside Transfender, I skip the Flight, and then open up the Color Palette and keep it on Color 2 until the game puts CJ back on foot at the San Fierro Airport
10:20 - 15:00 - While the Color Palette remains open, I run on foot to the Doherty Garage in which contains the Vehicle(s) I want to convert into EC/EM form
15:05 - 16:30 - Converting the Police into EC/EM form and then converting the Berkley's RC Van into EC/EM form before exiting Transfender with the EC/EM Berkley's RC Van
16:35 - 17:00 - Taking the EC/EM Berkley's RC Van back to a Garage
17:05 - 19:40 - Showing off the EC/EM Police and EC/EM Berkley's RC Van
***The Method I show in the Video will work for EVERY Platform and Version out there for GTA SA.
Note that if you're using the Catalina Phone Call (like I am in the Video) to set OM0 up at the Quarry's Red Marker, just know it does NOT always work and you may have to reload and be persistent with it. That specific Phone Call isn't a "High Priority" Phone Call and therefore doesn't always cycle in after so many seconds have passed after entering/exiting a Vehicle (or in this case the Jetpack) and when you're standing in the Red Marker on foot, the Phone won't actually ring and OM0 will not be granted. With that said, ANY Phone Call from the STORY Missions is High Priority and will work 100% of the time. Those Phone Calls also must be used for the Stadium Event OM0 Setups and when you need to hold a Call, as well. This Method does NOT require holding any Calls!
Make sure you have all the Quarry Missions passed before doing this so it doesn't add any extra Mission Attempts to the Stats! After all the Quarry Missions are passed, go back to Quarry and then SKIP the first SIX Missions because you want to be on the SEVENTH Mission which the Video shows and which also will give you the most time to do the EC/EM Conversion without any timer expiring on you.
You CAN convert up to FOUR Vehicles into EC/EM form that are inside the SAME Garage. In order to accomplish that, all you have to do is fully modify your Vehicle of choice, but then exit your Vehicle (you'll have a black screen and doing this blindly) and then enter another nearby Vehicle in your Garage and do the same process to it. Rinse and repeat until all four Vehicles are converted into EC/EM form and then fully exit the Transfender!
***IMPORTANT*** - Not all Vehicle Mods will work. It all depends on the Vehicle Model you're trying to modify as well as the actual Modifications you're selecting! For instance, if I were to try and mod Hydraulics on an NRG-500, the game will crash! But if you install the same Hydraulics on a Berkley's RC Van, the game will NOT crash!
Every time an EC/EM Conversion is used, it's in fact recorded in the Stats by the "Vehicle Modifications" Budget Stat.
Since the EC/EM Conversion can be done after 100% like the Video shows, that means any EC/EM Vehicle you convert is classified as RARE and NOT Special!
